Checked out Rudigergasse today.
They've tidied up the park behind, added kids stuff.
Building has the same grim face.
I wonder if the old woman with whom I shared a toilet still lives.
I doubt it. She was pure white headed and bent almost in two in '93.
Our common property made for enduring stories.
Some visitors used the shower pump, others opted for
"liquid deprivation" starting around 5:30 pm.
Those dank grey halls defined cold.
Maybe they have toilets inside the apartments now.
Social interaction scaling back, zooming out.
