Halibut Point

The quarried coast at Gloucester
contrasts sharply for its short distance from
the tip of Cape Cod.
From the most protracted transition of land to water
we cut to the chiseled intersections.

On my way home to Ann Arbor.

if you look really closely

You might see the Right whales that slithered into the sunset
on my last night.
I heard them before I saw them.
Alone, my imagination convinces me of an exchange.
The finest of farewells.

winding down

Last day approaching suggests a summary.
But there is no outline that can approximate my time here.
Provincetown helps you get in sync from the inside out.

Friday night oysters and clams at Victor's then
the Porchside followed by
the A-house little bar and
Lord knows how many negronis later...
a fitting farewell with David.

I'll be back.
This place has taken hold.

wharf and dunes

gathering souvenirs

the little cut through to Commercial from
Bradford where the famous A-House lives

Herring Cove from the dunes
sweating in a t-shirt; spring must be
here at last.
