Below the Louvre

Pardon me for being so rude and looking over your shoulder,
but were you doing the same thing (drawing on an iphone) at the New York Public Library
when Bill was speaking there in July?

The American woman sitting next to me at William Kentridge's
"Telegrams from the Nose", a mash-up of opera, performance art, stop motion animation,
drawing, and political commentary last night at the Louvre auditorium, wondered if she had seen me before. Oh, I felt so fleetingly famous, and for a flash considered saying,
Yes, I am Kentridge's iphone note taker.
I travel with him, silent like, blending into the audience,
recording and beaming.
I resisted.
